"Monster House" pre-screening features theremin score, demo

Charlie Lester played theremin on the soundtrack for the upcoming 3D animated film "Monster House" (Spielberg/Zemeckis). You can catch a special pre-screening on Friday, June 30 at the John Anson Ford Ampitheatre in Hollywood. This screening is part of the 12th annual Los Angeles Film Festival.

Charlie will be on hand to demonstrate the theremin before the film is shown. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. so you can arrive early and bring a picnic dinner. Charlie will begin playing at 6:30 and the screening begins at 8:30.

According to the Ford Theatre web site, general admission tickets are available for $10.

"Monster House" is scheduled for release nationwide on July 21st.
