Indeed. Big-ups for Kevin. Yea!

And Duet for Theremin & Lap Steel too! Good guys. Well deserved.

(And still they have some more to come. I guess that even more early bookings will have another direct effect on the line-up.)

Also very encouraging to know that a positive relationship is forming between Moog and the online theremin community. That's got to be a good thing for everyone. :-)

Hi!

I just recieved word that the tech folks at the Orange Peel are willing to work with me so that I can present my set in 5.1 surround sound.

My powered monitors will handle the rear (surround channels) and the center channel while the house system will handle the left-right-sub channels.

My set will feature some not-yet-released works -- one that combines live-looping with synchronized synthesizer tracks.

Here is the program planned for Thursday evening, April 24:

1. Meteor Mallets -- theremin and sampler/synthesizer
2. Three-Legged Race -- theremin and live loops
3. Spiral Galaxies -- theremin, live loops with synthesizer
4. The Sad Little Ghost -- theremin with sampled orchestral sounds
5. Rotations -- theremin with live loops and fx processing
6. Mummies and Unholy Ghosts -- theremin and synthesizer tracks

Even if you've heard some of these tracks on Spellbound, I think you'll enjoy hearing them in uncompressed surround sound.

I'm looking forward to the festival and hope to meet all the folks that I know from the internet theremin community who I've never met in person.
