Moog Premium Etherwave Case

Calling all TW members in the Pacific Northwest! The Bellingham Electronic Arts Festival May 5-8, is going to have a powerful theremin element this year. Lydia Kavina will be performing and giving a workshop.

If you print out your ThereminWorld profile page and take it with you as a coupon, BEAF has promised a discount to the festival for our OUT OF STATE members! Lydia may also be available for private lessons or semi-private group instruction while she is there. Her concert on Friday the 5th is also be open to the public, tickets at the door.

If you are able to make it to BEAF #8, please tell us about it here. It sounds like a great place to make and hear electrified music: "Nestled on North Puget Sound between Seattle and Vancouver, BC, Bellingham is a beautiful place to experience a unique festival designed to open eyes, ears, and minds."

How did I not know about this already?! I will definitely have to make the drive up. This is only an hour or so from Seattle.

Thanks for posting this article. I booked my travel arrangements this morning and I'll be at the Thursday afternoon lecture and the Friday concert. How can we find out about Lydia's availability for teaching?

I've e-mailed Lydia to ask how folks should contact her for lessons/clinics if she's available. As soon as I hear back from her, I'll post here.

Glad you're going to be able to make it!!

I have information on how to schedule a clinic with Lydia Kavina now. Send me mail at jason[at]thereminworld.com and I will let you know how to contact her.

Just to help clarify.
The discount they offered TW members only applies to the festival itself, not to any individual concerts.
I'd suggest taking a print out of your member page when you go since there isn't a formal paper coupon.

I just found out, apparently this only applies to OUT OF STATE TW members.
My sincere apology for any confusion.
Still hope a lot of folks go, honestly even without the discount it's still pretty darn cheap.

FYI - If you are Russian and out of state, you may also qualify for a discount and you should check with the Russian Consul who apparently will be emailing you directly.
