"What's up guys"

For me, the "whats up" is that I have absolutely no idea what schematic you are playing with, or what you are trying to do - and I cant see your picture.

Also - Questions like "Is a 8 ohm speaker too "heavy" for the circuit to push?" are really not encouraging - Sorry, but if your level of understanding is so low, you really need to study elementary electronics before you undertake a task like theremin building.

I am not trying to be nasty here - just pragmatic.. I hate to see someone languishing without replies here, but I can see why you are getting so few!

My advice is - Spend a bit more time on your postings - we are not telepathic! - Put schematics up at least (actually attaching a picture is much better than a link to some site which forces you to watch adverts or register) -

Fred.

Whatsoever but thanks, I think I'm too hot-headed on building a theremin myself,  and about the words I use... I have to say sorry because I don't really know how to say it except in Chinese.

the good news is that the theremin circuit itself works well and I already plug it into MAX/MSP, the only problem left is the amp.

I know I have to learn basic electrics, but in the meantime, having your advice is still a happy thing.

I'll try to be nice around here, just give me some time OwO

The irony is that you are in Taiwan making a theremin.

I am in America and live surrounded by theremins (including 2 RCA's) and am making a set of pure silk strings for a guqin player in Taiwan which I will mail tomorrow morning.

We live in a very small world and it is shrinking every day!

Well I don't think there's irony but only delightment, weren't this shrinking world (or I meant this site) built for the mission to share theremin worldwide? at least I felt the thrill when it first pop out of google.

Irony and delight!

You said earlier that you are a music major. What is your main instrument? Do you play any traditional Chinese instruments?

Here is a little composition I wrote last year for guqin and theremin. It is difficult to combine guqin with other instruments because it does not play melodies or harmonies in the usual way. It plays sonic impressions and feelings and "essences".
