Hi
I have just been given a Moog Etherwave Plus as a present. It lacks a power supply. I am under the impression that this is powered by a wall wart type. Moog themselves in the US told me that it needs to be 14V AC and at least 200ma (but that's all they told me). They have told me to contact the supplier in Australia which I did. They have quoted me $110 AUD for a power supply which seems extravagant if this is a wall-wart type.

Is there anybody who can tell me the exact specs for a power supply that I need to run this? I just think that they are having a lend of me with a quote for $110.
Thanks for any replies.

It is not as easy as that... The third mains Pin (earth or ground) which isn't used on standard wall warts has to be contacted through on the secondary connector. That makes the moog power supply rather unique.

You may try to tinker something yourself but there are strong risks for your health and for your Etherwave as long as you aren't very experienced and know exactly what you do. Seen under this angle these 110 AUD may be the cheaper solution.
