One of the many interesting and talented people we met at Ether Music 2005 was a musician, violinist, and composer named Darryl Kubian.

A violinist for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO), Darryl has recently performed on the Moog Etherwave Pro theremin with the orchestra. The piece performed was Cantilena from HECTOR VILLA-LOBOS’s Bachiannas brasileiras No.5

You can read about Darryl's exploits, biography, and other endeavors on his website XtremeMedia.com. There is also a collection of photographs from the event. The Moog Music website is also featuring a short article on the event.

Darryl also has produced a CD "String Theory" of his compositions and highlighting his skill on the five-string electric violin. Two minute sound files of each track (as well as the CD) are available from CD Baby and elsewhere.
