RCA Theremin on eBay!!!

Anybody have seen this theremin :

Very nice! I just emailed the missus to tell her it's not too late to pick up a last minute xmas gift.

The volume loop put in backwards made me laugh. It looks silly that way.

It looks like there are some mods to it. Look closely and you'll see The pilot light has been moved. You can see the twisted cable going from under the chassis, between the 120 and the 171 tube and mounted to the cabinet. You can barely see the the pilot light from the external pictures.

There's some weird coil next to the power supply unit, and I can't see the auxiliary power receptacle in the photos.

Conceivably the owner was left-handed.

it's upside down, not backwards. If it was left handed, I'd be spending the last of my savings be bidding on it

I get that. I'm just suggesting that if I were left handed and had a right handed theremin I would (a) stand on the wrong side of the instrument and (b) turn the volume antenna upside-down.

That would be an improvement on having rings on your fingers and bells on your toes!
