Childs Theremin project, major works, can you help?

Thomas, i believe the recrding on the Pro video was improvised. i could be wrong, i only saw it once when Moog sent out copies to be waiting for their pros to be made

Hi, thanks for the info. Perhaps with the theremin getting more popular, we'll see more theremin specific compositions in the future.

There is, indeed, a shortage of Theremin-specific compositions. The thrust of my work has been to create new compositions for Theremin that can be played by others. As such, the Theremin parts are all "written out".

I managed to compose a few Theremin works last year and and currently writing some new works.

There are some other modern works that appear to be written out -- Rob Schwimmer and Elizabeth Brown's works come to mind. Masami T. has written some songs for Theremin and piano and am not sure if the scores are available.

I am sure there are other people that compose for Theremin and I am sure I've left out quite a few names.
