Done!

Oh, by the way Jon, you are no longer the only person travelling over from the States.

Innnterestin'... Perhaps this occasional poster will read this and identify his/herself?

You can thank me for persuading Carolina to come! She's interested in perhaps doing some sort of duet with me, which will be fun.

How do I book?

OK, I think he's gone. Hush, everyone, don't tell him I told you, but I'm just as excited about Charlie coming as I am about any of our performers. He's really rather good, you know.

There's a splendid video of him playing the The Mysterons Theme from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bV8YbLvGrb0) on his mySpace site - here (http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1832892438).

Charlie, you can start reading again...

Gordon, Am I that mystery person that you're trying to reach? I assumed not because I had nothing in my MySpace inbox. But, was I supposed to get an email or something?

Oh, boy, have I got news for you!

So far you have been given reasons to attend Hands Off 2007. Plenty of reasons. Lydia. Barbara. Carolina. Charlie. Wilco. Spacedog with Clara the robot thereminist. Jessica with the Croix Sonore. Richard with Musaire's RCA Victor. The list goes on...

But, as Xenophon wrote in Symposium almost two and a half thousand years ago: "The splendour of the entertainment shall be much enhanced, I need not tell you, if my hall should happily be graced by worthies like yourselves."

And that won't happen unless sufficient people book in time. And I haven't given you any reason to book before a specific date.

But now I can. And for this I owe immense thanks to someone who prefers to be referred to as a Mystery Donor from the USA.

Well, God bless America!

And God bless you, Mystery Donor.

Because I am delighted to announce that every person who books a place at Hands Off 2007 before the end of May will automatically be entered in a prize draw.

The draw will be conducted on the Saturday evening of the symposium, and the lucky winner will receive an amazing prize, generously given by our Mystery Donor.

But what is it, Gordon? Get to the point!

It's a Presonus Firepod. Brand spanking new, still in the box with warranty and everything. (It has been tested, once, so we know it works.)

If you don't know what a Presonus Firepod is, click here (http://www.presonus.com/firepod.html). Read the reviews, the user comments, notice the retail price, scroll down and check out the specs.

You know you want one of these. (And if you don't, for some unimaginable reason, then see what they fetch on eBay!)

Now, go to http://theremin.org.uk and book your place before you forget and leave it too late!
