Has anybody experience with Line6 Pocket Pod and Theremin ?

Hello everybody,
i think about buying a multi fx for initial gigs with my Theremin (Kees),
i thought about buying the Line6 Pocket Pod.
Does anybody of you have experince with it?
If so can you recommend it ?

While were on the effects subject, can anyone recommend a cheap looper that will only repeat one line for around 10 seconds. nothing longer,no manipulation, just just a basic almost repeater that will follow what I play.

For a 10 second looper I have used the Akai Headrush pedal. THis is a great unit that has a fantastic tap delay, and a loop feature. It only loops I think 20 sec, but I have put down 4 or five tracks on it in the past. I think they run about $200. I love this unit, and use it ALL the time. Just my two cents...

Well sir.... It really depends on what you are looking for. I have never been a big fan of the POD stuff, but if you are looking for a small compact unit it may work very well. I might think about the TC Electronic M350 Reverb and Effects Processor. The unit is simple to use, and has great sounding effects. It is about $70 more than the POD, but I think you would like it. I used it on my E standard, and it sounded fantastic.

yeah, that was exactly my aim, to have a really small fx/reverb processor which i can simple put on top of my Theremin case or clip it to my belt or clip it to the mic stand... i understood that it works with a DSP and models all the amps and fx... and there is a possibilty to download huge amounts of sound and fx models from the web which could be uploaded to the pod with a usb cable... it´s just what i read about it... i would be interested if somebody already had used it with a Theremin and if it does what it promises...

Have you used the HeadRush with theremin?

I used to have one, tried it with guitar, found it awkward to stomp the switch(es) in proper rhythm while playing guitar, can't imagine doing same while playing theremin (or at least, while playing theremin in tune).

(This is in reference to the original HeadRush; I don't know whether the newer model uses a different footswitch.)

So, Andy, for ease of use with theremin, you might be better off with the Boss GigaDelay... $20 more, but you get more features, including a much more informative display.

OK, i bought it....
I think it's worth the 99Euros, it has a lot of built in presets and nice delay and Flanger. And it is small enough to clip it to the belt...
Sounds really nice with my Kees.
