Well, tonight's Barnyard show at Jack Rabbit's was not so good.

First off, our drummer is in Germany gigging with a Zappa tribute band.

Good for him, bad for us.

So we found this fill-in guy who showed up for two rehearsals and sounded great, fit in with our material. Everything was great except for the fact that he did not show up tonight, Then we went on last (when we though we woul db efirst) and we folllowed two punk bands.

Also, there was almost noone in the audience.

All this put two of our band members in a funk and none of us sounded our best.

Oh well, you win some adn you lose some...

Hopefully they will ley us back for another show.

A couple of people were there who have seen us a few times before and they said it was not bad at all.

It's very subjective and can be hard to tell when you are playing.

I can't wait to hear the CD of the show. Thay will settle it once and for all...

We pretty much played with out one.

We have a guy who plays tablas in the band so we had something at least.

Also, the guitar player used the bass drum and the hi-hat one-man-band style so we had a little precussion.

Ya might want to invest in a cheap-o drum machine just in case... or invite anyone from the audience up to play :)

I actually have a drum machine that I could start bringing.

My idea is to just be prepared to play no matter who shows up.

It's not like we are playing hard rock or anything...
