I noticed that one of the shots was of Moog's Steve D. playing an EPro on the stage at Orange Peel.....maybe that's from the memorial?

I believe so. There were also some photos a few days ago of some flowers at the service and inside the Moog's house after the service.

I'm sure everyone will miss Mr Moog.

Perhaps the media coverage of his death will increase the populace of thereminists?
