I just heard a rendition of "The 12 Days of Christmas" on "Spacial Xmas" ch 107 on XM radio today. I heard what sounded like a theremin playing in this song, expecially on the 'Five Golden Rings' part. I looked at my radio's display and it indicated that the group was called "The Wave Benders". I did a web search and found their "Surfin' Christmas" album for sale on Amazon.com. The Amazon.com description said that they use unusual instruments such as: theremin, saw, accordion, and glockenspiel. The description also mentioned the "wacky saw-swaying choruses trimmed with glockenspiel on 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'", so maybe I just got tricked by the saw. But, it did mentioned theremin in the description though. I did not find these guys in the 'Bands with theremins' section of this site.

Has anybody heard of "The Wave Benders"? Maybe they should be listed in the 'Bands with theremins' section of Thereminworld.com. :)

I've never heard of them. But you've given me a great idea for a future news feed post :) Please post links to any theremin Christmas tunes you know of here, and I'll summarize them in a news article in a few days.
