Wow!   You have all been so genuinely kind and helpful to "holophrastic" and I think that is what we should be about on TW.   However this person has not shown any appreciation towards your attempts to help and what really disturbs me is how disrespectful he or she has been towards Amethyste.  IMO the thread should end right here and now.

There is nothing to be gained by perpetuating the negativity any further.
