That's what I sold mine for in ~2008-2009 (forget the exact date). Seems like it should fetch more these days.

Well for one, money :). 

Also, I wasn't playing it ever and thought it deserved a better home. It took up a bit of space. Also, I was never a fan of the way the snake cable just hung down from the cabinet. I would have preferred it to be integrated into a leg somehow or had a custom cabinet style base built for it.

Interesting.  It looks like the snake cable plugs into the bottom of the case, near the front left of the player position.  The AC goes in there, with some sort of jack and knob.

Bob M's old coils look a lot like the ones I'm currently winding.  Makes me wonder why he gave up on them and went over to the dark (ferrite core) side...
