Hi!

I've been wanting to learn to play there theremin for years, and my father randomly sent me one for xmas.

However, it's a single pitch (from http://theremaniacs.com/). And I'd like to actually learn to play, not just make spooky sounds. So I need to know if I should exchange it for the next model up, or just return it for something better.

Thanks!

For musical playing I'd recommend something that has a volume antenna as well.

I should have said, the next model up has a volume control.

Thanks!

I am pretty new at this, but I have a therimini and a B3 deluxe already.  The theremini is much easier right away.  Look at the youtubes.

I am glad I got the stand and gig bag set.
