On the last sunday of October Paul and me (Robert) played on the monthly open studios afternoon of a group of local artists in Almelo, the Netherlands. For the occasion we improvised on handpan, didgeridoo and theremin and used our voices at times too. The handpan, didgeridoo and voices were unamplified, for my theremin I had combined the Fender Greta (modified with lower gain pre-amp and phase-inverter tubes) with '50s vintage loudspeaker cabinet and a Vox Pathfinder 15 EXR (a limited edition with 10" instead of 8" loudspeaker). Those got their input from the Vox Tonelab ST (some of the effects it does are stereo) with a Behringer tube preamp between the Tonelab and my Etherwave theremin. Temperatures had just dropped that day, so that was a factor in not very may people passing by, but those that did were mosltly quite interested. A few days after that the common cold virus got the best of me and I haven't been active here for a while, but have been reading old postings in the forums here. I did record some parts of our playing with a Zoom H2n, and postprocessed the recordings and uploaded them yesterday. Was fun to do, a bit cold though I mainly noticed that afterwards, good to practice playing with occasional unexpected distractions. The Heerengracht studios artists did enjoy our musical presentation too.
Here are the recordings I made:

A cold sometimes is a good reason to make things with more time and joy. Thanks  for sharing the mp3s. The handpan has certain fix frequencies what can one see in a fft spectrum. The interaction with theremin sounds very harmonic in case of coincidence of that tones or one of their overtones.
