Thanks. Yes I thought about that. I don't even need to cut it, the antenna sits well in place, there are stop rings perfectly in place. I think the pitch nut is a bit taller, so to cover the whole thread. They're shorter on the loop side.
I've already a temporary solution, a wrong sized nut with a drop of glue gun inside.
But I'd really like to get that part. Yes, I'm really picky I know

Thanks for the suggestion. About the srews, you're right ! I could print screw caps (probably not very practical if I have to disassemble it.) Or old-fashion copper screws?

Great news, I've worked on my enclosure and I'm about to release it on thingiverse. Stay tuned next week!
(The Bambulab A1 is a killer of a printer and I'm very very pleased with the results. The printing is much more precise!)

I've also made new knobs since the pins need a 6.2mm hole and the standard is 6mm

I still have to decide what to to with the ventilation. Maybe cut the back on the original enclosure and add spacer behind the backplate?

Well, I just wanted to share it with you, it's been a lot of work and so rewarding in the end!

I’m excited to see it done!

What 3d modeling software do you use? Onshape?

Nice. I hope you'll be pleased !
I use Blender. I made the 2D shapes in Affinity Designer (equivalent to Illustrator) and exported them to blender. A lot of back and forth tho !

Be aware that the white part will be a pain to print ! Even with my bamboo, I had a lot of fails and a lot of imperfect prints. And all of a sudden I could print the front and the back perfectly in a row.
I had five more tries today to get another pair : three fails and two allright but not great.

I remember it was a pain with the ender 3 too. But a bit more forgiving since the print isn't as detailled
I'll post a link here, or maybe in a new topic

Your feedback is of course very welcomed!
(I posted here, I'm not sure it's worth creating a topic for this)
