Moog Theremin T-Shirts

For those of us who weren't able to attend this week's concert by New York Theremin Society members and friends at Joe's Pub in NYC, here's a little taste of the magic we missed.

I really enjoyed this performance of The Beatles' "If I Fell" by Rob Schwimmer and Dorit Chrysler.   You don't often see theremin duets, as the instruments tend to cross-talk, but that doesn't seem to have been an issue here.

Enjoy!

I liked Rob's improvisational accompaniment at about 1:40 of the video...

Gee....that was the part where I thought the whole thing got really screechy and I had to turn down the sound!

Yeah, I grant you that Dorit was up there near bat navigation frequencies, but Rob was playing more in the midrange....It was pretty remarkable that he could hear himself at all, I guess. Such are the perils of live performance...

The Melodia (which runs on batteries) can be played right next to an Etherwave or E-Pro without any problems. Not sure w. RCA, etc
