The NY Theremin Society presents: "SOUNDS OF THE ETHER" Performances on Theremin by: Améthyste and Tigerforest, Dorit Chrysler, Cornelius Loy, Kip Rosser, Rob Schwimmer Following the smashing success of the NY Theremin Society concert on Sept. 20th with enthusiastic celebrity guests in the audience such as Michael Stipe, we are pleased to announce yet another exciting line-up of accomplished Theremin Virtuosos to perform December 12th at Joe's Pub. Featured Thereminists are Améthyste, Kip Rosser and Cornelius Loy while player/hosts Dorit Chrysler and Rob Schwimmer will lead through the evening and engage in some theremin duetting - yet another evening to expand your horizon on what you never thought was possible from a Theremin (or two... or five for that matter!) Each player has their own unique style and approach to the instrument making for a night full of contrasts and musical surprises.
