New Etherwave Pro available.

Hello everyone. Not sure how, but the stars were aligned my way when I found what I am pretty sure is the last brand new Etherwave Pro at the local music shop. Apparently (I quote the salesman) there are only 2 of these in New Zealand of which this is one.

Ok, I found the "edit" link to edit a post... perhaps "delete" would be good too so I could remove these extra posts... but not a major problem.

Though there isn't a preview feature, there is an "edit" feature so that you can edit a post after you've submitted it.

When you are logged in, you will see an "edit" button to the right of the date/time stamp on your posts. Just click on "edit" to edit your post.

Yes, that and many more features are on the list for a new version. The fact this ancient code base is running at all is a bit of an aether miracle.

Hello All. Ken I love your Star Trek rendition on you tube. Thank you Gordon for posting a link to the auction. Not sure if I am being "too optimistic" about the 7,900 buy now. Recently one sold for as much and my little guy is brand spanking new after all. its also a Moog limited edition collectible, being that only 80 were ever made with a solid wood back. I will be happy with highest bid or buy now. But will definitely have a difficult time parting with this guy. I have never never encountered a more human machine.

I agree the buy it now is a bit optimistic. However, I would expect an E-Pro to fetch more than an old RCA. The E-Pro is a much more evolved, portable, and playable instrument than an old RCA. RCA's also have the problem of old vacuum tubes, old wiring, etc. The main value of an RCA is the historical interest more than as a playable instrument.

Also, that was when they were still in production. Now that they are unavailable prices have skyrocketed.
