But it actually doesn't play :-(

1.) The article description says that it makes no sound which could most probably be corrected by retuning the coils. I fear that if there is no sound at all it might be more complicated.

2.) 40£ for shipping? If I order the Kit including the housing from the US I pay only the half...

But it makes me always sad to hear about defective theremins. So if I can afford it and if the seller has a cheaper idea for shipping it to France I'll buy and repair it.

If another TW member wants to buy it, I'm ready to help with the repair. In that case I'd suggest that it will be sent to me first and I'll send it to the buyer after repair.

It arrived today. I needed about 1 hour to get it basically working. But there is still a lot to do: Sound is extremely distorted.
