Well,
Visited the venue at SCAD in Savannah, GA. Its an old meat packing factory converted to an art venue.Its called M.E.A.T. (Meddin Emerging Artist Theater). Still has a lot of the equipment in there for packing......meat. Anyway, met the owner with my second (or padawan, if you will, who is studying on the Etherwave I loaned him). The owner thought we were "cool".....amazing what a good measure of self confidence will do for you.
Looks like this event will happen. It won't just be me...it will be a combo event, with several "acts" if I understand how it works. However, the electronic music angle will be the centerpiece.
Now, this won't be a formal (......"we introduce Philip Neidlinger playing Bach's....."), event. It will be fun and lighthearted but cool.
I won't do noise, however.
I plan on wearing jeans and a Moog t-shirt. Perhaps sunglasses. Nothing else special.
