While primarily an organ recital, I will perform a theremin-guitar work as part of this free event at Christ Church, New Haven on Friday May 8th.

Thanks for the kind words.

Some of the organ classics will be there, but the new arrangements include:

Rachmaninoff Prelude in C# min (arr for organ solo)

Rodrigo: Concerto Aranjuez (adagio) (arr for organ /guitar)

And of course the thereimn will feature in the guitar combo: Aria/Bachianas No. 5 - Villa Lobos.

I will hopefully have some recordings available closer to the time.

Well here are the results! The concert was a success. The theremin piece drew quite a few compliments, and perplexed looks.

It turns out playing a theremin in a reverberant space is a little more difficult than you might expect - the tuning that "they" here is quite different to what you hear close to the theremin.
