Ambient/Gothic/Industrial duo [b]Protea[/b] appears in the 2009 San Francisco Skronkathon Festival (and BBQ!) on Saturday July 11th, at 21 Grand performance gallery in Oakland.
Protea (http://www.myspace.com/proteamusic) is Serena Toxicat (vocalizations and lyres) and Joseph Max (theremin and computer).
The Skronkathon is an all-day marathon of creative/experimental music and BBQ. There'll be performances all day inside the gallery and hot grills & cold drinks in the alleyway outside.
