Since I have always used the "Recent Posts" query rather than "Unread posts" then I suppose every message is flagged as "unread".

Would it help to have a "mark all posts as read" function? Then if one gets behind on posts one can reset.

Appreciate all your work behind the scenes!

Thank you, omhoge! I shall keep fingers crossed that the "unread posts" link will remain -- in some form or another.

I feel like a failure for missing it.

At this point I don’t know if I could ever recover from the disappointment.
The best I can hope for is that Jason or omhoge will delete this thread and we’ll all pretend that it never happened.

I tried to 'log-in' for about two hours, tonight. Thank for the explanation. And, Omhoge, thanks for the super-duty windows95 server stuff!
