Theremin players in Perth, Australia

I am a student who is set to direct an 8 minute documentary and I'd love to explore the world of the theremin. Are there any theremin players in Perth who are interested in taking part or just supplying worthy information about the instrument?

Better still, are there any music stores that sell the theremin or did you have to import? Any info would be great.
