Bitter:Sweet Theremin

I wonder if the experts on this forum could affirm my assumption that in this wonderful piece of music "The Mating Game" by Bitter:Sweet a Theremin is used.
Maybe I am wrong and it is just a synthesizer - what do you think?

It sure sounds like an etherwave standard was used in there for some of this piece, especially in the second half.
