Gakken Premium theremin

i'm thinking of getting one...
can some one tell me the pros and cons of it??
it seems to be a good price. if there are better for still a good price, let me know plz...

The Pros:
- Cheap

The Cons:
- Cheap
- Small playing range, although they give a grounding bracelet with it
- Atrocious sound, see demo videos
- Difficult to tune

The Alternatives:
- B3 Standard (more pleasant sound) 150 USD
- B3 Deluxe (more pleasant sound and bigger playing range) 200 USD
- Theremax (more pleasant sound and bigger playing range) 200 USD
Compared to these, the Gakken should be still less expensive
