Robert,

Your email isn't listed, but please send one to my email. I'm about to start building the optical theremin from the oldmtemecula site. I was also hoping to build the RS theremin but haven't gotten the circuit PDF from Christopher. Perhaps he is just on vacation.

As I said, I am happy to share this with anyone who asks. The more people who build it the better. I am hoping that this Theremin may bridge the gap between the Theremax, and the Etherwave. Granted, it is not a kit, but if we all make careful note of parts lists and construction, we can come up with great step-by-step plans.

I did an SMD PCB layout for the pitch oscillator
section of the EM Theremin. I changed the biasing
to run off a +-5V supply and added a small switching supply to the board. I also added a Maxim MAX9770 amplifier IC which is a 1.2W Class D amplifier with a headphone and speaker output.

I have a photo of the populated board at

http://www.luciani.org/eng-notes/ee-notes/ee-notes-index.html

The bottom photo shows the board. Only one of
the four antenna coils can be seen in the
photo.
