Theremin-like controller

I found this on the web a couple of weeks ago, it's a proximity sensor that works quite like a Theremin, and that provides a current flow instead of a sound, so you can use it as a CV controller for a synth, or any FX pedal using a Vactrol optoisolator..

Thanks for that link, Franky!

It comes at an opportune moment. I'm getting too old to drag a bunch of heavy gear with me to gigs, so I have in mind to put everything upstream from the power amp in a pedal board.

But I really want to have my tube preamp first in the chain with effects after. So those effects schematics are very handy to have. I can build my effects with unity gain and use the tube preamp for the initial 60dB boost.
