do you play on karaoke MP3 ?

I am wondering where to get MP3s or tracks of piano to play the theremin on it. Does it exist ?
i'd like to practice with a musical background and i don't know where to get it...

You've practically answered your own question.

One option is to buy CD's made for karaoke. I did a search on amazon.com and got 9216 hits. Many of these discs have two versions of the songs, with and without words.

Obviously, you're not going to find an instrumental tune on a karaoke CD.

Also, you can do a Google search for "backing tracks". I found many available and many of them are free.

Will any of these have the pieces you're looking for? The more popular and well known the piece is, the better your chances.

Otherwise, I'd suggest finding a local keyboardist who might be willing to lay down a few tracks for you.
