I had a very nice theremin-themed weekend recently. I attended the play, "Pidgeon," (http://smithsmith.wordpress.com/2011/03/26/an-estsloan-roughcut-workshop-production-of-pidgeon/) in New York City, watched the Clara Rockmore 30-minute TV interview in the tape archives at the William Paley Center for Media (http://www.paleycenter.org/) in NYC, then spent a few hours at the Museum of Broadcasting (http://www.pavekmuseum.org/) in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The museum has an amazing collection of radio and TV artifacts, including vacuum tubes, telegraph keys, radios, TVs, phonographs and studio equipment. I enjoyed playing their vintage RCA theremin and visiting with the museum staff members. If you get a chance, be sure to check out this museum. It's great!
