THEREMIN WORKSHOP WITH LYDIA KAVINA AT DARTMOUTH COLLEGE, HANOVER, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA, AUGUST 15-20, 2005.

Lydia Kavina, grandniece of Lev Theremin and the distinguished performer on the theremin will come to Dartmouth College for a week in August 2005 (August 15-20) to offer a workshop for both beginners and experienced theremin players. Kavina teaches at The Theremin Center at the Moscow Conservatory of Music and she will be coming to New York for a concert on August 13. The workshop is limited to 20 participants. Experienced students are expected to provide their own instruments and all participants will receive daily instruction on instrument technique as well as class demonstrations. Ms. Kavina will be assisted by Professor Yuri Spitsyn.

Tuition for the week is $300.

Campus housing and meals are available through Dartmouth College as well as less expensively at The Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction, Vermont (five miles away; the Greenwich Village of the Upper Connecticut River Valley).
