I am new to the Etherwave theremins. At the moment i am working on an Etherwave by Big Briar (11-211) and recently received my own Moog Etherwave PCB (11-211J). Without any further investigation and by adjusting L11 and / or the 'Volume' knob only i must say that the Big Briars volume response by far is better compared to a narrower field of the Moog EW. Both start identically at the same hand-to-loop distance, but the Moog does not seem to be as responsive at the higher distances with whatever setting choosen. I didn't even measure the CVs.. it's more a feeling at the moment.
Is this a known issue?
