I think most of you are familiar with the Etherwave so should I get the Ehterwave or the theremin featured here... http://www.interfold.com/rabit/Theremin.htm

The Etherwave is more of an instrument that the theremaniac theremin. It depends whether you want to sacrifice extra money for extra playability, or whether you just want a box to make 'woo-woo' effects.

Charlie's right. Are you planning to learn to play melodies on the theremin? If so, the Enkelaar or Etherwave are good beginner choices. I haven't personally tried the B3 or other similar entry-level theremins listed on eBay.

The Theremaniacs theremin is certainly capable of producing music and is also great for a novelty act. You'd just have to find another way to control the volume signal.

Go with the Etherwave if at all possible.

I have had mine for about three years now and have not had any trouble with it at all.
