In the Theramax 9505 kit, is the 1kuh choke coil the same as a 1k ohm resistor?

I'm not familiar with the schematic, but in general, they are entirely different components with different parts to play in a circuit.

You won't be able to subsitute one for the other. Are you missing parts from a kit?

The choke is not interchangeable with a resistor. However, the supplied choke LOOKS the same as a resister -- fortunately the choke is slightly larger than the supplied resisters, so you should be able to pick it out from the other parts.

Also if you put an ohm-meter on it you should get 1000 ohms for the resistor and very little resistance for the choke.
