Has anyone played one of these?

If so, what did you think? I would love to pick up some older theremins but I'd like to have something I could actually use musically.

Theremins parties sound cool.

I wonder if that really happened.

It seems to me that having the pitch and volume antennas in the same orientation and so close together would be a big problem for anyone trying to play it musically.

I've played one - and I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it. It is difficult to use it for anything other than sound effects.

Bidding is up to $300, and the reserve isn't met yet. This is one confident seller :)

I expect we'll see this one pop up again. The auction ended at $370 with the reserve not met.
