Bob Moog was a Ham Radio operator?

There's a callsign mentioned for him, a K2 call if I remember right, I wonder if he was very active on the air? Intentionally I mean.

I was actually wondering what happened to his call sign, if anyone had done anything with it as a memorial.

go to www.qrz.com or www.eham.net and type it into the callsign search box, see if anyone has it now.

Apparently his call sign was K2AMH.

It is not in either of the databases you mentioned, lowfer.

QRZ.com and eham.net which is a sort of appendage of QRZ.com don't have it. The fcc itself has records, whether they'll share them is another thing.

But it looks like someone has done the research.

I myself gave up what a lot of people would consider a very desirable callsign a couple of years ago, it will be interesting to see who ends up with it in a few years.
