I've seen a couple of show listings for a band from Madison, WI called "The Theramones" - a theremin-fueled Ramones cover band.

Unfortunately, I can't find any more information about them.  Has anyone ever seen them perform or know of a place I can check out their covers?  Sounds like a fun concept, and I'm curious about how they're executing on it.  I'm also a big Ramones fan :)

Haven't heard of them, but that's a great name for such a band.

I don't know anything about the THERAMONES but I have seen the THEREMINIONS perform.

The best thing about some of these groups is the name.

Unfortunately for them, searches for "theramones" think you're looking for "The Ramones".  Sometimes clever is too clever.

Yes. Just like this local band's name "The Flaming Panties". Nuff said.

Jason, sometimes wrapping a search term in quotes can help.

I did a google search with these three words together and got a number of hits:

Theremin Ramones "Theramones"

...of course the first two hits are links to this thread.

In an effort to compensate for typos, bad spelling and/or ignorance of the English language, search engines sometimes point you to the damnedest places.

"Those things arnt yours. There mine."

I like their sound. Pity about the crappy video.
