"Seems to be just the outer case."

If it made any noise that truly would be music from the ether! :)

Hi, Pete here. My first post here....

I'm keen to dip my toe in the waters of the Theremin. I've a maximum budget of £200 for something playable... Moog Etherwave, Burns B3 Deluxe, possibly a Theremax. Must be fully functioning and ready to go.

Can anyone oblige? If not, I'll probably end up importing a B3 Deluxe from the manufacturer (unless anyone can supply one this side of the pond).

I'm in London UK and would prefer to try before I buy. Work often takes me away from the capital, so distance may not necessarily be a problem.

Thanks. Pete.

Well here's one for you Pete. I found out the serial number is "6495"

LOL - its ebay - the price it sold for may not reflect what it would have sold for if there were other bidders! - For all you know, the winning bidder might have had £250 as their maximum bid.

So dont feel too bad - it looks like you missed a bargain - but you cannot know what the price would have gone to if you had joined in the bidding!

Fred.

No I'd already committed to something else, which has now fallen through... However there's another Etherwave on Ebay that's just appeared, so all is not lost.
