Yes; the only side-effect is that if one tube filament fails you have to find which one it is, as none will glow! A bit like the vintage Christmas lights.

Fuzz wave asked about avant garge thereminists.

There's a weird guy that calls himself Beat Frequncy. Apparently some people like it. <shrug>

Jim is that you selling or definitely one of your neighbors?

Ebay Link

The right price is what the right collector is willing to pay. I don't see a reserve but I am not an Ebay expert. Using my method of valuing $3000 would be ideal in a hot market but my best guess is it will sell for less than $1000.

That's not me. These are the same pics Fuzzwave posted.

Rockwall, TX is about 15 miles away from my home.

I am new to eBay bidding but I just learned the way you get around not having a reserve and hiding the action is a trick where eBay automatically reject any reasonable bid to low. I would go higher but... do I smell something, Longhorn Dookee?

If Texas did secede from the Union I would move there, the gals have a nice accent.......no wait I got too old but still not blind!

Fuzzwave good luck on your sale.

eBay has lots of tricky things going on that they don't officially condone or even mention to poor noobs in their FAQs but are condoned nonetheless (e.g. as a seller you can often prematurely end an auction that is going south with no penalty).

And the whole bidding thing is too rich for my blood, particularly on the seller side.

Ok, so now the listing was "ended because the item is no longer available".

I was just wondering if the "AVANT GARGE" music of this Beat Frequncy guy was a fusion of "AVANT GARDE" and "GARAGE".

I think Avant Garage would be a fair description, but Pere Ubu have previously tagged themselves with that label, so I will add a different letter to my typo and proclaim that the music of Beat Frequency is Avant Gargle.
