oldtemecula, this scheme I know. I assumed that you have developed some kind of an easy way to control the LED illumination of the left hand. It's the most important thing.

There should be a smooth adjustment.

(I'm doing this, but it is not finished. I have just such photoresists)

Martel, position the sensor where you can use your finger to cover it

Крепление 13 мм выше, подогнуть трубки, не раздави ее.

Mount 13mm higher, bend the tubing, not squash it.

I understand, thank you.

Returning to the problem of distortion in the low range.

Replacing the transistor 5484 has given nothing. It has become even worse.

But the increase in the nominal value of the capacitor C22 to the 3300-4700 pF seems solved the problem.

That is, apparently they (C22) You can adjust the characteristics of the circuit, if it is compiled using other than recommended Thierry components (antenna other other fee another installation)

You should not experience distortion, but somewhat more harmonics in the lower range. The circuit is designed as a musical instrument with its own tonal character which varies over the pitch range, and not as a distortion free sine wave generator.

"I understand, thank you.  I make this option, when the external light does not affect the finger manipulation.   When I make, photograph :-) ..................... (And repeat. Perhaps, with the help of Google translation from not all my thoughts I bring full :-)) But we will try to communicate and share ideas)"

Correcting your message.

oldtemecula, your version gave me another good idea for the realization of the volume control.

Thank you for the tip :-)

Thierry, thank you for your advice and help. I'm on your circuit have an idea, I will try to implement it tomorrow :-)

...........................................................

Today I tried the mixer (with tone control) to a conventional NPN transistor KT3102B (analogue BC547 and the like).

Tone control has not justified itself. A mixer works well. No worse than the field.

(I have to save their 5484 :-))

(I can imagine the scheme)

Can i use 1/8w resistors? what is the lowest rating I could use?

I built everything with 1/8W 5% carbon resistors and also with 1/10W 1% metal film resistors. No noticeable difference.

Thierry, and what volume control scheme would you recommend to your scheme?

I gathered here this:

http://www.strangeapparatus.com/Theremin.html

But the sensitivity of the antenna, and adjust the volume level does not suit me. The scheme works, but is inefficient.

.............................................................................

Тьерри, а какую схему управления громкостью Вы бы порекомендовали к своей схеме?

Я собирал вот эту: (фото)

Но чувствительность антенны, и уровень регулировки громкости меня не устраивают. Схема работает, но неэффективно.
