Thierymin pitch only theremin giving nothing but static an high pitched noises.

I've rebuilt the circuit, and vastly improved the range in which my hand has an effect. But it's pitch range is quite small (only high pitched sound, nothing low) the antenna I've got attatched isn't telescopic, but it is about 50cm long and 6mm thick. I shall look for a stereoscopic antenna tomorrow, and try tune it with the cap more accurately. I shall also take it off breadboard and build it on proper board.

Thank you all for the help, it's working now, the pitch is still a little high, but I can tune it to about a range of a foot and a half. With abit more tuning. And building it on PCB I'm sure it's perform perfectly.
