Broken volume tuning coil

Hello,

I'm new to the theremin and just acquired a Moog Etherwave to try out. It is completely out of tune and when I opened up the case to attempt tuning with the pitch and volume coils, the L11 seems to be broken.

My question is - is there a way to replace the coil? And if so where could I get my hands on a new one (that ships to Europe)?

Would appreciate if someone can help me!
x

Please indicate what is written on L11. Moog has used variable inductors from different manufacturers over the years and has thus slightly adapted the surrounding circuitry several times. That's why it is important to replace with the original type.

In most cases, I'll be able to help you.

No I can't since you took the picture from the top of the variable inductor L11. I need the info which is written on one of the sides. I guess it could be "SLOT TEN-5-10" but I want to be sure...

Aha I see - yes it is indeed SLOT TEN-5-10!

How much would a new piece be? And Could it be shipped to the Netherlands?

Please contact me by email theremingenieur(at)gmail(dot)com. Shipping to the Netherlands from France is not really a problem. smile
