Unfortunately for Theremin builders, classic RF components become more and more obsolete, since the production of analog radios in the long and medium wave range is about to die out. So, IMHO, the best way is to look at platforms like eBay for NOS (new old stock).

There was a place in the US called BGMicro that had a few thousand sets of four IF transformers in the white and black that you need along with red and one other.  They were different part numbers (ending in AO2, AO3 corresponding to the Xicon 42if102 and 42if103) but the application was similar so I believe they would be usable.

Unfortunately I checked yesterday and they were sold out.  When they had them they were selling the set of four for something like 95 cents.  I see that the sets are available on ebay:

This is exactly the set that BGMicro sold (I recognize the documentation) for 95 cents, now at ten times the price.

Where are you, and how many do you need?
