I had a few students who "fell on their nose" with these and I had to confirm that these are crap after trying out myself. The publicity tells about a huge pitch range, but the tone spacing is too small in the high register and too wide in the low register, so it's unplayable as soon as you want to do more than some woooooooo-eeeeeeeee-oooooo.

Basically these Golem instruments are built based on the digital Glasgow Theremin schematics, which had been developed as a pure academic proof of concept and was never intended for practical use. The circuits might be of interest for engineers to learn how one builds an absolutely unmusical theremin, but there is no use for a musician.
