Adult Science Premium Theremin at Amazon.com

For our Japanese readers, here are a couple of resources to help introduce you to the theremin. First up is the Adult Science Premium Theremin (translated) from Adult Science Magazine (the same folks who introduced the world to the Gakken Mini Theremin). It currently sells on Amazon.co.jp for 9780 Yen, or about $114 USD at the time of this posting.

Theremin Learning Book by SATO Sha Megumi

Next up is the Theremin Learning Book by SATO Sha Megumi. It's also available at Amazon.co.jp and currently sells for 2709 Yen, or about $31 USD.

If you have either of these products and would like to write a review for Theremin World, please get in touch.

Barbara Buchholz teaching a workshop

Imagine learning to play theremin from a true master in a beautiful setting such as the Mediterranean. Barbara Buchholz is about to make this dream a reality for some lucky workshop participants!

Buchholz has scheduled a series of classes for beginners and advanced thereminists in Sardina and Mallorca this summer, with more to come. I don't think she could have picked a more beautiful setting for these workshops!

Stone cottage in Mallorca

You can find more information on the current course schedule at her new website, www.theremin-workshop.com. If you attend, please send us pictures!

For a sample of Barbara Buchholz's music, we highly recommend her most recent album, Moonstruck, available as a downloadable MP3 album at Amazon.com.

There's a meme flying around blogs lately I think would be fun to try here. It goes something like this... A blogger asks members of their community to post one and exactly one piece of advice related to a common topic. Easy, huh?

So here goes...

What one piece of advice would you share with someone who wants to become a great theremin player?
