Carolina has an added performance on the Earplay new chamber music series on Monday evening, March 22 at 7:30 pm. She will perform a movement from Stigma Integrum by Jan Bilk, scored for theremin and string quintet.

The Little Mermaid from the Hamburg Ballet features a Theremin in the pit and that thereminist is Carolina Eyck. They've had very successful tours in Europe and Japan and will be in the US at the San Francisco Ballet from March 20th till the 28th.

Armen Ra

Theremin phenomenon Armen Ra will be presenting an excerpt from METAL, a tribute to Maria Callas, at the REDCAT Fall Studio 09 Program in the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater, part of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The dates are Sunday November First and Monday November Second at 8:30PM.

Tickets are available via the REDCAT website.

His performance of METAL early this year in New York was a knock out, highlights from it are on line here. Catch this if you can!

Satin Pauls Sand Diego

This Friday March 14, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra will be presented in concert at St. Paul's Cathedral, San Diego.

In addition to some feisty Hayden, the program will include a new theremin work, The Concerto for Theremin by Linda Kernohan and featuring Scott Paulson, musician and theremin soloist for the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.

Linda Kernohan was a former organist at St. Andrew’s, Encinitas and is in the final stages of a Ph.D. in composition from UCSD.

Armen Ra will be playing 2 sets at the legendary
Magic Castle in Hollywood November, 7 2007.

Famed private club for magicians and those who support the art of magic. The Magic Castle is situated on a hill just one block from the legendary Chinese Theater, this restored old 1909 mansion has become a Mecca for magicians and celebrities through out the world.

Being a private club for magicians, it's an honor that The Castle has agreed to allow the general public to attend this recital.

All you have to do is mention Armen's name at the door.

10 Theremins Disney Hall

Steve Martin and the NY Theremin Society are thrilled to arrange the historic attempt of bringing 10 Thereminists together in an ensemble to perform at the Los Angeles Disney Hall on May 26th. This had only happened once before, 75 years ago at Carnegie Hall. The Thereminsts are Rob Schwimmer, Armen Ra, Dalit Warshaw, Dorit Chrysler, Carolina Eyck, Steve Martin, Kevin Lee, Charles Lester, Roger Ballenger and Robby Virus.
