I've had fun experimenting with rounds, chorale-type harmonies, and unisons, with the help of multitracking software to record myself doing individual parts, GarageBand software in my case. It's great for practice, keeps you at it for hours, heh. And sometimes it sounds nice. A song done in unison can have a nice bagpipe-like feel, IMO.

Rounds that I've had fun with: Dona Nobis Pacem, Ma Tovu. O Haupt Voll Blut und Wunden is a rich chorale by Bach. Auld Lang Syne works well in unison, I think. The little contest entry I entered this month (congrats to jaca101, who won!!) had a unison of 5 voices in the 3rd chorus. That was great fun to do.

Someday I want to take all these thick textures I'm getting with multivoices, and throw them into some kind of looping or synth software and see what I can do with a remix/fragmentation/recombination.
